Contest Timetable

2002 IQWY Contest
June 21, 2002	Slides & entry blank must be received by Quilt Week Executive Committee (QWEC) no later than June 21, 2001. Slides & entry blank will not be returned.
July 12, 2002	All entries will be notified by e-mail or fax by July 12th. If your quilt(s) / work(s) pass the first judgement, instructions will be included on sending your quilt (work) for the final judging.
July 27, 2002	Accepted quilt(s) / work(s) must be received by the QWEC by July 27th for the final judgement. Address: IQWY Contest 2002 C/O Patchwork Tsushin Co., Ltd. 5-28-3 Hongo, Bunkyo-ku Tokyo 113-0033 Japan
August 31, 2002	The result of the final judgement will be notified to each applicants by the end of August. The quilt / work which did not receive any award will be returned to its owner by the end of September.
November 8 -10, 2002	The prize-winning work(s) will be exhibited at the 10th International Quilt Week Yokohama 2002. The quilt / work will be returned to its owner after the Quilt Week. *Please allow 4 weeks after the close of the exhibition for return shipping. Awards will be presented at the Awards Giving Ceremony during the Quilt Week.

2002 IQWY Miniature Quilt Contest
September 21, 2002	The Miniature Quilt(s), entry blank, and entry fee must be received by Quilt Week Executive Committee (QWEC) no later than September 21.
October 15, 2001	Award-winner will be notified through e-mail, fax, or Air Mail by the middle of October at the final judgement.
November 8-10, 2002	All quilts applied to the contest will be exhibited at the International Quilt Week Yokohama. Awards will be presented at the Award Giving Ceremony during the Quilt Week. *The quilt(s) will be returned to its owner after the Quilt Week. Please allow 4 weeks after the close of the exhibition for return shipping.
